Taylor Wessing's Private Client practice is celebrating the inclusion of partner Steven Kempster in the Hot 100 2011, which is published annually by The Lawyer and brings together the top 100 lawyers who have "consistently demonstrated nimbleness and innovation” over the last 12 months.

Steven specialises in the resolution of disputes relating to the formation or administration of trusts and estates both in a UK and overseas context and is amongst a number of partners who are driving Taylor Wessing’s award winning private client practice to one of its most profitable years ever. In the last year he has advised on two multibillion dollar trusts disputes in Bermuda, making Taylor Wessing the only firm chosen act in both cases. 

Other recent cases include disputes relating to trusts and estates in the UK, Guernsey, Switzerland, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein and the Cayman Islands.  His practice also encompasses advising high net worth individuals, private banks and trust companies on trust structuring and succession planning issues, particularly where there is an international element.  He also advises on charity law matters, including dispute resolution where UK charities are involved.
