This update aims to provide an overview of some key developments of November 2009. Most notably, there have been developments in competition law litigation relating to technology standard setting, with the European Commission concluding two long-running investigations. In addition, the High Court has ruled in the Gemstar/Virgin case in relation to patent infringement of TV box-sets.
