Nominet consultation on release of new ".uk" domain names closes 8 June 2010

Nominet, the registry for .uk domain names, is running a public consultation exercise on its plans to lift restrictions on two-letter, one-character and other reserved .uk domain names later this year. This means domain names such as tw.co.uk, t.co.uk and previously excluded formats such as biz.org.uk or ltd.co.uk may soon be available for registration.
