EU moves closer to Biosimilar antibodies
The EU is expanding its specific regulatory pathway for generic biotechnology products. A recent concept paper is the first step towards formulating a guideline that producers can use in planning the development of Biosimilar monoclonal antibody products for marketing in the EU. Any third party can make submissions to the consultation process before the end of January 2010.
