Can the publication of a kiss and tell story involving a well-known footballer be in the public interest? This was a key question that the High Court had to consider in the recent case of Ferdinand v MGN. And unusually, the High Court held that, in this instance, the kiss and tell story was in the public interest and its publication was justified.
