Last year, the Labour Government enacted the Digital Economy Act 2010 (the DEA). The Act contains various provisions to enable rights owners to tackle infringement and piracy. A year on from the DEA hitting the statute books, rights owners are not much closer to being able to rely on the provisions. We explore the latest position.
