Equitas proposes Part VII transfer of 1992 and prior Lloyd's names business

Equitas Limited ("Equitas"), acting on behalf of certain Lloyd's Names (the "Names"), has proposed the transfer of all the 1992 or prior non-life business carried on at Lloyd's by the Names, to a new insurance company, Speyford Limited, including all the insurance and reinsurance policies comprised in this business (the "Transfer"). Equitas is a subsidiary of the Equitas Group, which was formed in 1996 to reinsure and run-off the 1992 and prior non-life liabilities of the Names.
