EC publishes draft Insurance Block Exemption Regulation: Future competition rules for cooperation between insurers takes shape

The European Commission ("Commission") has published for consultation a first draft of the new block exemption regulations ("BER") for the insurance sector, intended to become effective on 1 April 2010.
