Taylor Wessing Senior Associate, Louise Popple, recently co-wrote a guide for the Anti-Counterfeiting Group on Enforcement & Litigation. The guide briefly summarises the types of action that can be taken (by Customs, Trading Standards and the Police, as well as civil proceedings and private criminal prosectuions by brand owners) and contains practical information on issues such as continuity of evidence, witness statements and budgeting.
