Yimin specializes in China related direct investment, M&A, project financing and mainstream corporate legal affairs, undertaking the advising for MNCs and foreign companies on all PRC legal aspects related to their business in China. He has knowledge covering various industries (especially heavy-metal manufacturing, real estate and banking), as well as arbitration and litigation. He also has special experience regarding China-outbound investment and venture capital.
Yimin completed his LL.M in the University of Manchester after having graduated from ShanghaiUniversity (LL.B in 2002). He passed his bar exam in 2004*. From 2002 to 2007 he worked with a major local law firm, with a secondment to Shanghai United Exchange of Equity & Assets in 2005. Yimin joined Taylor Wessing’s Shanghai office in 2008.
* Since working for a foreign law firm, Yimin is presently not permitted to simultaneously practice as a Chinese lawyer.
