As a member of the Private Client Department, Wolfgang Galonska advises and represents private clients in all aspects of corporate succession planning and succession in legal estate. The main focus of Wolfgang's activity involves the drafting of inheritance contracts and contracts in connection with divorces as well as wills in consideration of corporate succession planning and the purposes and requirements of the inheritance tax. Apart from his extensive and long-standing litigation experience, the trained mediator (DAA) focuses on out of court conflict resolution (mediation).
Furthermore, Wolfgang has gained comprehensive experience over a number of years in real estate law, focusing on international real estate transactions, commercial tenancy law, estate agent law, compulsory auctions and real estate securities.
After law studies at the Universities of Göttingen, Freiburg, Lausanne and Würzburg Wolfgang received his degree in law in 1981 and 1986 in Würzburg and Hannover. After 2 years working as a lawyer in Oldenburg, he joined Taylor Wessing in 1989.
Wolfgang has contributed to the publication of a user guide regarding corporate succession planning and is a contributor concerning questions of succession of legal estate and corporate succession planning. He is a member of the "Deutsche Vereinigung für Erbrecht und Vermögensnachfolge" (DVEV), of the "Verein der estate planner Deutschland" (vdep), of the "Bundesverband Mittelständische Wirtschaft" (BVMW) as well as of the "Institut für Betriebsberatung, Wirtschaftsförderung und -forschung" (IBWF).
