Dr. Volker Baas specialises in capital markets, especially capital investments. Advising financial service providers in developing, implementing and settling closed-end funds, he benefits from the wealth of expertise he gained while working in several executive positions at a major German bank for many years. Corporate restructuring is another area Volker specialises in.
Volker Baas studied law and business management in Frankfurt, at Harvard University, USA, and at INSEAD in France.
Volker is an assistant lecturer at St. Gallen university in the “Executive Master in International Business Law” programme and has authored many publications on banking law. He is a member of the board at Harvard Club Rhein Main as well as a member of and lecturer at the German American Lawyers’ Association.
