Verena Ahmann is a member of the Practice Area Trade Marks & Designs. Focusing mainly on trademark and unfair competition law, she supports international and national clients in general legal issues as well as in contentious and non-contentious matters.
Verena studied law at the universities of Bonn and Münster. After passing the first legal state exam in 2006 she wrote her doctor’s thesis on a topic of public law, spending several months at Boston University School of Law. In 2009 she sat the second legal state exam in Dusseldorf. As a trainee lawyer, she worked at the German Patent and Trademark Office and for two law firms in Dusseldorf and Munich specialising in intellectual property.
Verena, a native speaker of German, is fluent in English. She has a good command of the Spanish language and a basic knowledge of French.
