Ulrike Staats joined the firm's Frankfurt Office as associate in April 2007. She is a member of the Practice Area Banking & Finance. Ulrike advises German and international banks, companies and financial institutions especially in the field of banking law and finance transactions. In particular, she advises on a broad range of financing transactions relating to real estate finance, project finance and acquisition finance. She focuses on transactions in the Renewable Energy sector. She holds a degree as "Certified Professional for Renewable Energy Finance (Frankfurt School of Finance & Management)".
Before Ulrike studied Law at Saarland University, she worked as a banker for two years. She passed the two German state examinations in 2004 and 2006. She also obtained her degree as a “Diplom-Wirtschaftsjuristin” in 2004. During her legal traineeship Ulrike worked with law firms in Saarbrücken and Sydney, Australia.
Ulrike, a native German speaker, is fluent in English.
