Torsten is member of the Practice Group Employment. His work for Taylor Wessing is concentrated on legal advice and litigation on all aspects of individual and collective labour law and the bordering legal fields. He advises predominantly companies and executives.
Torsten (born 1976 in Bamberg, Germany) graduated from Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2001 and passed his Second State Examination in 2003. He obtained a Master of Applied Law (MAppLaw) from University of Queensland in 2005. He passed traineeships with Ruiz & Sperow LLP in San Francisco and the Queensland Government. He was a lecturer between 2003 and 2005 for Juristisches Repetitorium Hemmer and for Juristisches Repetitorium Hilbert & Lang, which he founded himself, in the areas of civil and labour law. In 2006 he was working for the teams Corporate Risk Management and Employment Law at Bell Legal Group on the Gold Coast, Australia. Torsten was admitted to the German Bar in 2007 and joined Taylor Wessing in April 2007.
Torsten is a member of the Labour & Employment Practice Group of the World Law Group, which is currently working on a Global Guide to Employment Terminations. Recently he started his doctoral thesis in the area of Employment Law.

Torsten, a native German speaker, is fluent in English and French, and has a basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
