Tobias Runge, LL.M. (UCL) – Associate

Tobias Runge specialises in public procurement, in particular IT and construction contracts. He also advises closed-end real estate funds in court and out of court in connection with the acquisition, management and financing of real property portfolios. Tobias has special expertise in constitutional and administrative law as well as in European and international environmental law.

Tobias passed the first state exam in 1999 in Freiburg im Breisgau. In 2000, he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at University College London with a special focus on environmental law. He passed the second state exam at the Berlin Court of Appeals in 2004. He is currently writing a doctor’s thesis on a topic of environmental administrative law and has published articles on European genetic engineering laws (NVwZ 2003, 549 ff.) and European environmental information law (DVBl. 2005, 542 ff.).

Tobias, a native speaker of German, is business fluent in English and fluent in written and spoken French.
