Thanos is specialized on advising in IT and Media law with a special focus on Copyright, E-Commerce, Data Protection and Youth Protection law matters. Thanos also has a broad experience in the legal aspects of producing and distributing content in the social media, games and films context. With his profound background in the communications industries on commercial, regulatory and competition matters, he is advising startups as well as medium-sized companies and large MNEs.
Thanos studied law in Marburg and Cologne. He obtained the 1st German Legal State Exam in 2005 and a Masters in International Business Law (LL.M.) from the University of London in 2007. After his Masters he worked in the legal department of a leading global Telecommunications company in London. In 2010 he qualified after training as a lawyer in Berlin, Strasbourg, Athens and Singapore.
Thanos was awarded a scholarship from the Alexander-Onassis-Public Benefit Foundation.
Thanos is native in German and Greek and fluent in English.
