Stefanie Kornatz, DESS – Senior Associate

Stefanie Kornatz is a member of the Corporate practice group in Frankfurt. She specialises in advising on general corporate law, M&A transactions and insolvency/restructuring matters.

Stefanie Kornatz studied law in Marburg and Paris. After completing her law degree in Germany in 2004 and her full legal studies including the Licence en Droit (2000), Maîtrise en Droit (2001) and DESS (2002) in France, she worked at the “Company Law and Corporate Governance” department of the European Commission’s Directorate General Internal Market. During her legal traineeship (Referendariat), she worked for the Local Court of Düsseldorf, an international law firm and the in-house legal department of a major listed German company. After obtaining her second legal state examination, she worked for another international law firm before joining Taylor Wessing in 2008.

She was admitted as "Avocat à la Cour" to the Paris bar in 2009.

In 2010, she completed a specialisation program in insolvency law (§ 14 FAO).

Stefanie is a native German speaker and fluent in English and French.
