Sonja is a member of the Commercial Practice Department. She is specialised in advising national and international corporate clients on distribution, contract and trade law. Her areas of practice comprise the structuring of contracts and the representation of clients in legal disputes in and out of court.
After having studied in Passau, London und Bonn Sonja passed her first legal state exam in 2000. She worked for the Institute of Private International and Comparative Law of the University of Bonn. Sonja then studied at the University of Oxford and was awarded the degree of Magister Juris in European and Comparative Law (M.Jur.) in 2002. She passed her the second legal state exam in Cologne in 2006, before she was admitted to the bar and joined the Taylor Wessing Munich office in 2007. Sonja earned her doctor’s degree with a dissertation on international takeover law.
