Specialised in intellectual and industrial property law, Simon intervenes in patent law-related issues (advice and dispute resolution), notably of international scope.
Simon became a lawyer in 1992 and has always practiced in the field of intellectual and industrial property law. He was a Directing Partner with Landwell as from 1999 and he previously practiced with Pierre Véron (1997-1999) and with Gérard-Gabriel Lamoureux (1993-1997).
Simon has a Doctor of Laws degree (LL.D) in international IP law (he defended his thesis on “Conflicts of law in the field of intellectual property – Methods and principles for their resolution within the scope of French private international law and contract law” in 2005 at the Law University of Grenoble). He also has a DEA degree in private law applicable to “Industrial Property” (Centre Universitaire d’Enseignement et de Recherche en Propriété Intellectuelle – CUERPI, 1991) and a Master’s degree in private law (Law University of Grenoble II, 1989).
Simon regularly publishes articles in legal magazines or books and he is a lecturer in Intellectual Property at the Law University of Cergy-Pontoise near Paris.
Simon is of French mother tongue and he speaks English fluently.
