The main areas of practice of Rüdiger Robert Rau are advising on structural measures of national and international companies subject to the legislation on collective bargaining (Law on Collective Agreements, codetermination and participation in the management of companies and groups of companies) including the implementation of all kinds of restructuring measures and comprehensive advice on the laws applicable to members of bodies like the board of directors or to managing directors. His clients are big international and German companies primarily from the technology sector.
Rüdiger Robert Rau studied at the University of Cologne. He became a lawyer in 1985 and has specialised in labour law since 1989. He has been partner of the law firm since 1990.
Rüdiger Robert Rau is co-author of the labour law manual "Freisetzung durch Abfindungsregelungen" (lay-off by compensation agreements).
Rüdiger Robert Rau is a member of the Committee for Labour Law II of the Munich Bar Association as well as of the German Labour Court Association.
