Richard is specialised in national and international bank and finance law. He advises on all issues of private banking, with a major focus on bank litigation. His scope of work further includes restructuring of companies and insolvency law issues.
Richard studied law in Cologne and Bayreuth. In addition to his legal studies, Richard took an additional course in business economics at the University of Bayreuth. After his first Legal State Exam 2007 in Cologne, he gained his doctorate in the field of insolvency law. In 2011 he sat his second Legal State Exam in Hamburg. During his legal traineeship in Hamburg he worked for Taylor Wessing and also completed a traineeship in a law firm in Singapore.
Richard is a German native speaker, fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
