Philipp is specialised in the field of competition and EU law. He advises both German and international clients especially on anti-trust and merger control procedures before the German and European competition authorities and courts. His practice also comprises the advice on distribution and licensing agreements as well as on EU trade matters (anti-dumping).
Philipp studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He passed his Legal State Exams in Hamburg in 2005 and 2007. His legal traineeship included internships with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, with the European Commission and with a leading international law firm in Brussels. He is currently writing a doctoral dissertation on European Union law.
Philipp, a native German speaker, is fluent in English and French.
