Peter Hofbauer is a member of the Commercial Practice Department and is specialised in distribution, contracts and trade law. He advises national and international enterprises on all aspects of distribution (commercial agency, authorised dealers, franchising systems and e-commerce). His areas of practice comprise the structuring of legally sound distribution systems, contracts and GT&Cs, the advising on all issues of daily business and the representation of clients in and out of court. His clients include companies from trade and industry, especially from the automotive and automotive supply sectors, technology-oriented enterprises and companies from the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries.
Peter Hofbauer studied in Tuebingen, Aix-en-Provence and Munich and passed the first legal state exam in Munich in 1989. He worked for the Institute of Politics and Public Law of the MunichUniversity and a San Francisco-based law firm before passing the second legal state exam. In 1995 he was awarded the doctor’s degree in corporate law. Peter joined Taylor Wessing in 1990 and was admitted to the Munich bar in 1995. He became a partner in 1998.
