Otto Graf Lambsdorff was born in Aachen in 1926. He studied Law at the Universities of Bonn and Cologne and was admitted to the Bar in 1960. He has been a member of our firm since 1977.

He has been a member of the FDP since 1951. From 1972 until 1998, he was also a Member of Parliament. During this time, he was Economic Spokesman of the FDP faction (1972-1997), Minister of Economics (1977-1984) and leader of the FDP (1988-1993).

Otto Graf Lambsdorff is also Chairman of The Trilateral Commission, Chairman of the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation, Representative of the Federal Chancellor for the "Foundation Initiative of the German Industry: Remembrance, Responsibility and the Future" and Member of the International Advisory Board Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

He is a Member of the Board of numerous companies.
