Norman Röchert, LL.M. (Cape Town) – Associate

Norman Röchert is a member of the corporate department. His main practice areas include corporate law, M&A and capital markets, where he specialises in advising enterprises and in M&A transactions.  

Norman studied law at Leipzig university and at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He spent his legal training at several courts and at an international law firm in Frankfurt am Main. He taught classes in, among other things, corporate law for a legal revision course. In 2007 he obtained his master of laws (LL.M.) degree at the University of Cape Town with a specialisation in commercial law. He is taking his doctoral degree in general civil law and capital markets at the institute of international law of banking and capital markets at Leipzig university.
 

Norman was admitted to the bar in May 2005. He joined the Berlin office of Taylor Wessing in September 2007.
