Norbert Sailer (Khuepach) works in the areas of international and domestic tax and fiscal law, corporate and partnership law, inheritance/estate law, foundation law, investment and investment tax law, and international public and European law.
Norbert advises financial investors in private equity and venture capital matters and in enterprises regarding M&A transactions, the transfer of company HQ and shares (particularly those within the European Union and the European Economic Area), and tax laws and restructurings. In addition, he advises entrepreneurs, wealthy individuals, and families regarding succession, estate planning, asset (protection), restructurings, and tax law as well as institutional investors in private placements.
After completing his education, Norbert was an academic assistant, researcher, and lecturer at the Research Centre of European and International (formerly International and Foreign) Tax and Fiscal Law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and at the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam.
Norbert is a member of the faculty of law at the Institute of Tax Law at the University of Maastricht, a lecturer of international and European tax law at the University of Applied Sciences in Hof and a guest lecturer at the Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS), Roma, Italy. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) as well as a member of its German and Austrian branches. He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (German Section).
Norbert is author of several articles on international public law, European law, and tax law (international and domestic) and has written commentaries regarding the German individual tax code (Herrmann/Heuer/Raupach publishers).
