Michael Stein is a member of the Corporate practice group and became a partner of Taylor Wessing in Frankfurt in February 2010. He advises on M&A and private equity transactions, but also on corporate restructurings and on general corporate law. Michael Stein primarily represents both domestic and international strategic and financial investors, particularly focussing on cross-border transactions.
Michael Stein studied law at the Universities of Trier and Seville, Spain; he spent his traineeship in Trier, Frankfurt and Budapest, Hungary. He passed the first legal state examination in 1998 and the second legal state examination at the end of 2000. From 2001 until the beginning of 2010 Michael Stein worked at Lovells LLP in Frankfurt and, during a secondment, in London with a focus on M&A, private equity and general corporate law.
Michael Stein has published a number of articles on corporate law issues in professional journals.
Michael Stein, a native German speaker, is fluent in English and also speaks Spanish and Hungarian.
