Michael Spring was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1946. After having served in the army, he studied Law at the University of Frankfurt. He passed the First Legal State Exam and completed the following practical legal training in the judicial circuit of the Court of Appeal in Frankfurt. MichaelSpring was admitted to the Bar in 1976 and to the Court of Appeal in Frankfurt in 1981. In 1981, he was also admitted as a Civil Law Notary.
Michael Spring is a partner in our law firm and heads the Real Estate and Family Law Division including the Civil Law Notary Services of the law firm’s Frankfurt office. He has extensive experience regarding the planning and execution of construction projects. He gives legal advice to national and international construction firms, project developers as well as private investors and real estate owners. In addition to this, MichaelSpring specialises in the drafting and arrangement of regulations providing for the succession by inheritance of companies. He also advises the executive staff of companies with regards to Family Law. Apart from his function as attorney-at-law, MichaelSpring operates an extensive notarial practice with an emphasis on large construction projects.
Michael Spring is author of the book „Geschäftsfähigkeit und Verfügungsberechtigung bei Grundstücksverfügungen in der gerichtlichen, anwaltlichen und notariellen Praxis“ (published by Erich Schmidt Verlag). Furthermore he wrote the article „Widerrufsklauseln in Übergabeverträgen“ for the manual „Unternehmensnachfolge - Handbuch für die Praxis“ (published by Erich Schmidt Verlag).
