Michael is a member of the Practice Area Employment and Pensions. His main area of practice is advising companies and executives on all areas of individual and collective employment law. Furthermore he specialises in formulating employment contracts.
Michael studied law at the University of Augsburg with a fellowship of German National Academic Foundation and received his law degree in 2004. Afterwards he worked as scientific assistant of Professor Benecke, Professor Kort, University of Augsburg, and Professor Leistner, University of Bonn. He started to write his dissertation with a fellowship of German National Academic Foundation. During his legal training he also studied at the German University of Administrative Science in 2008. In 2008 he was awarded a post-graduated fellowship of German Academic Exchange Service for his research at the Institute of European and Comparative Law, University of Oxford.
After his Second Legal State Exam 2008 he worked with an international law firm in Düsseldorf. He joined the Düsseldorf office of Taylor Wessing in December 2010.
Michael, a native German speaker, is fluent in English and has also good knowledge in Japanese and Italian.
