Matthias concentrates on all areas of labour and employment law. He provides specialised advice with regard to the drafting of employment agreements, termination of employment and employment of foreign employees in Germany or secondments of German employees abroad.
Matthias studied law at the University of Tübingen from 1995 to 2000. After passing the First State Exam he continued his studies at the University of Minnesota Law School, Minneapolis, USA, in 2000 and 2001 and graduated with the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M). After passing the Second State Exam, Matthias joined our Hamburg office 2004 and is a member of our Employment Law Practice Department. Since July 2004 he has been a member of the Hamburg Bar.
Matthias, a native German speaker, is fluent in English.
