Martin specialises in EC and UK competition, regulatory and trade law and EC advice.
Martin has particular expertise in merger control and behavioural competition issues where he regularly advises businesses with market power on their pricing initiatives and other commercial conduct. He has acted for complainants as well as defendants in competition and regulatory investigations. Martin also has extensive experience in assisting knowledge-based industries where he has been involved in some of the leading cases in the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, IT, telecoms and branded goods sectors.
Martin advises the public sector, utilities and private businesses on the EC public procurement regime.
Martin's practice includes advising on anti-dumping in a range of sectors, origin, GSP, tariff classification and customs investigations. Advice on the World Trade Organisation, including its Dispute Resolution regime, is an important element of Martin's practice.
