Head of Private Client (UK)
Mark is the Head of the Private Client, Tax & Incentives group. He specialises in trust and tax planning advice and has a wide experience of advising an international client base.
Mark acts for individuals and their families as well as professional trustees; client families who have assets and family members across a number of countries. He advises on the protection and preservation of capital including tax issues. As well as acting for individuals, Mark acts for professional trustees in Bermuda, Liechtenstein, Jersey and Guernsey.
Mark studied law at Bristol University graduating in 1977 and qualified as a solicitor in 1980. He further qualified as a chartered tax adviser in 1986. Mark is listed as a top 10 trust and personal tax solicitor in both the latest editions of Legal 500 and Chambers. The latter states that he gives "highly creative" advice and his "detailed technical advice and gravitas" ensure that this "gifted communicator" is rated amongst the best in the market place.
