Mario specialises in legal advice in the context of technology-orientated public procurement procedures, complex IT/TK-projects and planned construction. His clients are bidders as well as the public contractors in all instances of litigation. Furthermore, his practice area encompasses research and development and technology transfer contracts. Among his clients are national and international companies, major enterprises and the state (federal and regional authorities, public institutions). He operates the litigation department with four lawyers.
He completed his First and Second State Examinations in 1991 and 1994 respectively after legal studies in Bonn, Heidelberg and Berlin. 1994: He wrote his dissertation at Humboldt University Berlin 1994.
Mario makes regular contributions to leading publications, including articles on public procurement and IT-provisioning (Computer & Recht 2003) and problems of prior involvement within complex procurement procedures in the IT-sector (Computer & Recht 2004). He is a member of the NGO Transparency International which has an active role in the formation of opinion as regards the amendment procedure within public procurement legislation.
