Maria Weiers is a member of the Practice Area Corporate since 2005. She specialises in national and international M&A as well as private equity and venture capital transactions. Furthermore, Maria Weiers assists, in particular, foreign companies in the establishment of German subsidiaries and cross-border transactions. She is also involved in corporate housekeeping and related legal services.
She studied law at the Universities of Freiburg and Bonn. In 2001 and 2004 she passed the German legal state examinations. Before joining Taylor Wessing in Düsseldorf in September 2005 she worked for another law firm in Düsseldorf.
Maria is a native German speaker, fluent in English, proficient in French and she has basic knowledge of Italian.
