Marc is partner in the Competition, EU and Trade Group and specialises in commercial law, contracts law, Belgian and EU Competition law and general EU advice.
Marc advises clients on commercial agreements, such as distribution, agency, licensing, manufacturing, supply and services. He also provides his assistance on Belgian and EU competition law in the context of merger control, notifications, complaints, cartel investigations and regulatory matters. He also has a strong expertise in selective distribution for luxury goods companies. He has been involved on pan-European streamlining business arrangements and transactions so as to ensure compliance with commercial and competition national rules, for which he ensured a coordination role of multi-jurisdictions.
Marc studied law in Paris. He obtained a Master of Laws degree and a Phd in international business law. Marc started his career within the legal department of Arthur Andersen before joining Price Waterhouse Juridique et Fiscal in Paris. Then he moved to Price Waterhouse EU services in Brussels as responsible of the EU law unit. He was afterwards transferred to Landwell as the Head of International Projects and EU law department. He joined our Brussels office as managing partner in 2005. He is member of the Paris and Brussels bars.
Marc regularly publishes articles and lectures on various subjects of commercial and competition law. He is member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
