Marc Müller – Partner

Marc Müller specialises in employment law and advises small businesses and large nationally and internationally active companies in all areas of individual and collective employment law. One of the focal points of his expertise is the drafting of employment contracts as well as the drafting of contracts for managing directors and members of executive boards. Furthermore, he represents both companies and managing directors or members of executive boards in and out of court in termination of employment cases. In the field of collective law Marc Müller drafts and negotiates work council agreements, including reconciliation of interests and social compensation plans during restructuring and staff reductions.

Marc Müller attended law school in Hamburg and Lausanne. As part of his traineeship he worked in both New York and London. He passed his first and second of the German State Exams in 1998 and 2002 and joined our Hamburg office in December 2002. Marc Müller is certified specialist for labour & employment law.

Marc Müller holds lectures and seminars on employment law. After passing the first level of the German State Exam he became a tutor preparing law students for their first and second German State Exams in civil law. He is a member of the Working Committee for Employment Law of the German Association of the Lawyers (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Arbeitsrecht des Deutschen Anwaltvereins), the Hamburg Association of Lawyers (Hamburger Anwaltverein) and the German-American Association of Lawyers (deutsch-amerikanischen Juristenvereinigung).
