Lorraine has wide ranging experience in all aspects of real estate transactions, both domestic and international. She specialises in advising real estate investment funds and property companies in connection with acquisitions, disposals and lettings particularly in the office retail and industrial sectors and on the real estate aspects of corporate transactions. Lorraine has also acted on a large number of cross-border real estate transactions.
Examples of Lorraine’s experience include:
- Acting for Doughty Hanson & Co Real Estate in relation to their joint venture with Liberty Property Trust and acquisition of 20 office buildings at King's Hill Park, Kent
- Acting for Quinlan in connection with the acquisition of a Luxembourg company the owner of Marlow International Parkway, Marlow
- Representing a US investment bank as private placement agents in connection with an extensive mixed use development in Bahrain
- Representing Doughty Hanson & Co Real Estate and Liberty Property Trust on their joint venture acquisition of Blythe Valley Park, Solihull from British Land Company Plc
- Acting for Hess Limited on a wide range of landlord and tenants matters.
Graduated at Leicester University and qualified as a solicitor in 1991, Lorraine was made Partner at Lawrence Graham in 2001. In 2003, Lorraine then went on to set up the real estate team at White & Case in London before joining Taylor Wessing in 2009.
