Kristina Wieddekind (née Bischoff) specialises in the area of public commercial law in particular public procurement law and private construction law. She advises public awarding authorities as well as companies in the context of public procurement law and construction law disputes. The scope of Kristina’s practice also includes tendering procedures. She has shown particular expertise in the areas of waste management, PPP and proceedings in the event of breaches of contract.
Kristina Wieddekind passed her first state examination in June 2001 following her studies in law at the Universities of Trier, Lancaster and Münster. She carried out her legal training in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Celle. After successfully passing her second state examination in November 2003, Kristina began her professional life as a lawyer in a medium-sized firm in Hamburg. In 2005, Kristina joined Taylor Wessing’s public procurement law department in Hamburg. She is also in the process of writing her doctorate on a public procurement law theme under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wolffgang at the University of Münster.
Kristina has already written a number of publications and was the co-author of a Commentary on Public Procurement Law [2011] (“Vergaberecht 2011“, published by Werner Verlag, Berlin).
As well as her native German, Kristina speaks English.
