Dr. Karen Scheunemann – Associate

Karen Scheunemann studied German and French law in the universities of Saarbrücken, Geneva (Switzerland) and Münster and graduated in 1999/2001 (First/Second State Exam). She spent part of her legal traineeship in Brussels and Luxemburg at the EU Council and the European Parliament.  In the relation of her Ph.D. focussing on the registration of internet domains Karen spent several months as a Visiting Researcher at the University of California at Berkeley. Before joining Taylor Wessing, Karen worked in the legal department of a major German company in the healthcare and lifescience sector as a company lawyer.

Karen is member of the German Association for Intellectual Property and Copyright Law (GRUR).
