Jürgen Heilbock, LL.M. (Georgetown) – Partner

Jürgen A. Heilbock joined the law firm of Wessing as a partner in April 2000. He is an acknowledged legal expert in the fields of information technology and corporate finance. The main areas of his legal work include start-ups, venture capital and IPO, domestic and international M&A and Joint Ventures in the information technology, telecommunications and Internet sector. Currently, he provides legal services to the smart card industry, software companies, IT and telecommunications suppliers, innovative value added service providers, Internet auctioning platforms, Internet Communities, Internet Service Providers, as well as to an Internet radio and an Internet drug store.

Jürgen A. Heilbock has been admitted to the Bars of New York (USA) and Frankfurt (Germany). He is the author of many publications and regularly lectures on topics relating to the fast-growing IT-industry. He studied Law at the Universities of Freiburg im Breisgau, Nice (France), FU Berlin and at Georgetown Law School (USA).
