Jan is a partner in our Hamburg office and member of the practice area Corporate. His main areas of expertise are M&A transactions and corporate structuring, including restructurings. He mainly advises technology companies, financial investors as well as medium-sized and privately owned enterprises.
Jan is a chamber qualified specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht).
He studied Law at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel and the University of Surrey in England and took his second state examination in Hamburg. His honour doctorate deals with impacts of information technology on insolvency proceedings.
Before joining Taylor Wessing in 2004, Jan worked for another leading international law firm in the fields of corporate law and M&A.
Jan, a native speaker in German, is fluent in English.
