Howard is a partner in the Corporate department and specialises in advising on venture capital investments, for both companies and investors, acquisitions and disposals as well as IPOs, particularly on AIM. He primarily works with companies in the media, technology and life sciences sectors.
Recent transactions include advising:
- Webroot Software Inc on its £16million acquisition of Email Systems Limited;
- the shareholders of Multimap on its sale to Microsoft Corporation for a significant but undisclosed sum; and
- Sofinnova, Burda, SRPE and Amadeus on their £7.25 million investment into Brent Hoberman's new online furnishings business, mydeco.com.
Howard studied Law at the University of Warwick and Law at the Guildford College of Law.
Howard is recognised by Chambers 2009 for his work on venture capital investment.
