Holger Schrewe was admitted to the Hamburg Bar in 2003 and joined the corporate department of our Hamburg office in November 2004. He specialises in complex M&A transactions and joint ventures. In addition, he advises on corporate restructurings as well as general corporate housekeeping and all other aspects of corporate law.
Following his legal studies at the University of Bielefeld he passed the First State Exam in 1998 before the Higher Regional Court of Hamm. He then graduated from the University of London with the degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.). Holger Schrewe's legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg (Referendariat) included internships at one of the major international law firms, the German Consulate General in Melbourne and the legal department of one of Germany's leading publishing houses. After the Second State Exam in 2002 Holger Schrewe wrote his doctoral thesis on a topic of comparative sales law with Prof. Dr. Pfeiffer at the University of Heidelberg.
