Hauke Bornschein, LL.M. (Univ. of Edinburgh) – Partner

Hauke is specialized in national and international bank and finance law including bank litigation. In addition to his work in general banking law he has extensive experience in acquisition, real estate and project finance transactions for banks as well as investors. His specialized area of work also comprises restructuring of companies and advice and litigation in connection with closed-end funds.

Following a bank apprenticeship, Hauke studied Law at the Universities of Marburg and Hamburg. After having passed both Legal State Exams, he completed a supplementary course of studies in Business and Commercial Law at the University of Hamburg followed by a 1-year postgraduate course of studies at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland where he graduated with a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.).

Hauke is a member of the Bankrechtliche Vereinigung - Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Bankrecht e.V.

Hauke, a native German speaker, is fluent in English.
