Hasan is a partner in Taylor Wessing Middle East and his practice areas include corporate finance, Islamic finance, private equity, funds, capital markets and financial regulation.
He has successfully advised on conventional and Islamic financial structures, project development and project finance transactions, bond and Sukuk programmes, fundraising (both private placements and public offerings), cross-border investments and fund formations as well as mergers, acquisitions, disposals and commercial arrangements across a diverse range of industries and sectors in the Middle East and South Asia.
Hasan regularly advises on the regulatory framework of Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai Financial Services Authority, UAE Central Bank, UAE Ministry of Economy, Securities and Commodities Authority and NASDAQ Dubai.
He is a graduate of University of Karachi and London School of Economics and Political Science where he studied international financial law, and undertook post-graduate research on Financial and Commercial Regulation. He is an advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.
