Hagen Hasselbrink is a member of the Corporate Practice Department. He advises domestic and foreign businesses as well as individuals in all kinds of corporate matters ranging from the formation of enterprises to the advising of individual shareholders and mergers and acquisitions.
Moreover, he advises companies in corporate matters regarding corporate restructuring (mergers & acquisitions, (partial) divisions, spin-offs, changes of legal status) under the Company Transformation Act (Umwandlungsgesetz).
Hagen Hasselbrink studied law at the Universities of Hamburg and Leipzig and completed his legal training (Referendariat) in Berlin. He passed his First and Second Legal State Exams in 2003 and 2007. At the same time he wrote a dissertation with the subject “§32a UrhG as a special claim on account of unjust enrichment” at the chair for civil law, civil procedure law and copyright of Prof. Dr. Christian Berger at the University of Leipzig. In October 2007 he was admitted to the German Bar and joined Taylor Wessing, Berlin.
He is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
