Greer is a senior associate in the Finance group at Taylor Wessing. Greer has a broad range of deal execution and advisory experience including:
- advising major banks and financial institutions as well as borrowers in connection with bilateral and syndicated real estate finance transactions (investment and development), refinancings and restructurings with a focus on the hotel industry and pan-European and cross-border deals;
- advising asset based lenders in relation to receivables and other asset based lending facilities together with the related security requirements; and
- acting for both sellers and purchasers of residential mortgage portfolios.
Deal experience includes:
- acting for the London branch of a specialist real estate finance financial institution (as agent and syndicate bank) on the financing of the purchase by a Luxembourg SPV of a retail park in the UK;
- acting for one of the world’s largest providers of asset based lending on the provision of invoice finance and cashflow loan facilities to a UK company to fund the acquisition of another group of companies and their working capital going forward; and
- acting for a UK mortgage provider on multiple deals involving the sale of residential mortgage portfolios worth up to £500m each including prime, non-performing and non-conforming assets and Scottish and Northern Irish mortgage loans.
Greer has spent time on secondment at both Taylor Wessing's Hamburg office and with a key client of the firm, GE Capital - Commercial Finance. She also has been seconded to Taylor Wessing’s Paris office to act for a London Branch of a German bank on the refinancing of a mixed use leisure complex in France.
Greer is a graduate of the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and she worked as a commercial solicitor at a large New Zealand law firm for two years before moving to London in 2004.
