Esther Brandhorst is member of the Practice Area Planning and Environment. In her work for Taylor Wessing she is focussed on legal advice and administrative court litigation in the areas of public planning, building and construction law, environmental protection law and the law of departmental and sectoral planning.
Esther studied law at the Universities of Bonn, Lausanne and Geneva and passed her first legal state exam in 2002. After her second legal state exam she worked as a lawyer for a law firm in Bonn in the area of public law. During this time she wrote her Ph.D. in municipal law; the formal process is pending. She joined the Düsseldorf office of Taylor Wessing in November 2010. In 2011 Esther was appointed specialist lawyer for administrative law.
In addition to her native language German, Esther is fluent in English and speaks French as well.
