Dr. Dietrich Max is member of the Corporate Practice Department of Taylor Wessing. His practice concentrated on general corporate law, with a particular emphasis on owner run companies and their shareholders. Over the past 20 years Dr. Max has advised several listed stock corporations regarding corporate and commercial law disputes. Litigation is another focus of his work. In addition, Dr. Max has acquired extensive expertise in arbitration proceedings, both as legal advisor and arbitrator.
Dietrich Max was born in 1947. He obtained a doctorate degree in jurisprudence from the University of Göttingen and was admitted to the bar in 1977. He became partner with the law firm Taylor Wessing in 1980. Since 2002 he has been the German senior partner of Taylor Wessing.
Dr. Max is Vice President of the bar association in Düsseldorf and deputy chairman of the "Verband Freier Berufe im Lande Nordrhein-Westfalen", an association dedicated to the representation of the professions.
